Darnassus, to be honest, was not as interesting as I expected it to be.
It had one feature going for it - it was at the top of (or maybe it was) a gigantic tree, so I had high hopes as we walked through the portal that would take us up But once we actually got up on top of it, it just seemed so... dull. To be sure, the architecture was well-done in the elven style, but the city itself had neither the bustle of Stormwind and Ironforge or the familiarity of the Exodar.
Compared to the boat ride that had taken us to this boring place, getting the candy for Jesper took no time at all. The innkeeper made us dance for her, which, although silly, I willingly did. While we were in the city, I also took a little time to have one of their trainers teach me the basics of bow usage; it couldn't hurt to know how to use one! I'll need to practice quite a bit, though, before I'm anywhere near as confident with it (if that's even possible) as I am with my crossbow.
After that, there really wasn't much else to do, and even the journey back wouldn't take long — we both had our Hearthstones. Daari's was attuned to Westfall, and although mine would take me to Stormwind, I had a letter I'd been tasked to deliver to Westfall anyway, so I agreed to meet her there.
