An Offer I Couldn't Refuse

1 December 2009

I recieved a most interesting letter today.

(( Attached to the entry: ))

Dear friend,

Greetings. I know that this message may be a surprise to you, but I am Nazz Requevez, brother of the wealthy Baron Requvez, who has recently been falsely imprisoned under an assumed identity.

As you might imagine, the Baron would like to be freed from his prison sentence for these slanderous false accusations against him, but he cannot access his considerable money to bribe the guards without revealing his true identity. He has thus tasked his brother, myself, with determining a way to raise the funds to release him.

This is why I wish to present you, my friend, with this business opportunity. The Baron suggests that if someone were to provide the up front funds to bribe the guards that are keeping him there for a crime he did not commit, he would be grateful, and more than willing to depart with a considerable sum (one hundred thousand gold) for your time and efforts.

My brother understands the initial cost is high - he estimates that these guards are reasonably incorrigible, and will likely take about nine hundred gold to bribe. This is why he is being so generous with his offer of repayment. I understand this may be a hardship for you initially, but you will be rewarded many times over.

Sincerely yours,

Nazz Requevez

If anybody claims I'm not lucky, they're lying! I sent a reply to Mr. Requevez, letting him know I'm interested.
